Join me in April 2025 for a Creative Challenge: 30 Days of Substack.
What Do We Want to Learn in 30 Days of Substack?
- How to use it.
- How to be consistent with it.
- How to grow subscribers.
- Test out the audio and video features.
- Investigate the podcasting features.
- Try the Notes feed
- Find other great Substackers and support them.
What Can Substack Do?
Substack is a great place to publish content and get connected to Substack readers.
It automatically creates an email newsletter for you, saving you some steps towards connecting directly with your audience.
Substack content types are primarily text and photo, but you can post audio, short video.
You can also host your podcast on Substack, so if you are just getting into to that and want a simple solution, Substack might be a good choice.
Substack also has a Social Media function called Notes that mimics a Twitter-like feed. (Yes, I still call it Twitter and always will.) Notes is growing in popularity, so getting in early might be beneficial.
But What If I Don't have Anything to Say?
Writing begins in private, so we can do that too. Daily writign will help you gain confidence, and I promise that you will surprise yourself with what you can do.
Why I want to Use Substack, Specifically
In a word, readers.
Substack has people there I want to connect with, whereas my Wordpress blog is out on the web connected to readers only by search engines.
Anything Else?
This is a beta group, meaning it’s a smaller, more interactive experience. If you want to be among the first to try it out, sign up for the waitlist today.
